The track originally took inspiration from years spent decaying within the walls of a call centre, repeating the same routine whilst having to meet expectations of compliance and sales and always wondering how time could be better spent. Lyrically, it later developed into a rant about being overwhelmed by demands from civilization and personal relationships and the boundary between the selfless and the selfish. Have you ever yearned for 'Do Not Disturb' to be plastered across your forehead?
